Surfing Morocco

Morocco has been a premium surfing destination for the surfers of the world since early 60's when an America GI from the military base of kenitra brought the first board to the Moroccan shores.
Due to its geography, Morocco is a perfect surfing destination for all levels of surfers. The Moroccan surfing playground, and especialy Taghazout area offers a wide variety of breaks from mellow Sheltered breaks, to hollow  and challenging reef breaks that every surfer dreams to ride

Currency: Moroccan Dirham (MAD)

Language: Arabic and French, but a majority speaks more or less english

Religion: Islam, but there is a Jewish minority and also christians. You can find a cynagogue, catholique church, protestant church and Mosques in Agadir.

Time: GMT (casablanca)

Wet season/Dry season: Taghazout is known for it's 330 sunny days a year, so it barely rains, but the "rainny season" is from November to March
